Pollution and conservation ecology. Paper V : Practical corresponding to theoretical Papers I & Il. Full Marks—S0 Paper VI: Practical corresponding to theoretical papers ITI & IV. Full Marks-—50 Guidelines to teachers regarding the above practical papers. (A copy of those guidelines to be sent to the practical paper-setter) 1. At least 50% of the prescribed genera should be worked out to detail in the Practical classes and the preparations resulting therefrom submitted in examination by each examinee. For unspecified taxa, Practical works are to be done with prepared: materials. 2. Field collections including at least 50 herbarium sheets, field note book, practical note book and prepared slides (at least 10 in paper V and 5 in VI) etc. should be submitted by each examinee without which the candidate will be disallowed from appearing at the examination. 3. Botanical excursions are a compulsory part of the curriculum. Each student must attend at least one long and four short excursions conducted by a teacher during the academic sessions of which one should be to agri-horticultural farm. 4. Identification of specimen with reaspns are to be done upto the family ‘for angiosperms and upto the genus for other groups. * 5. Practical works in anatomy should be done with at least 10 materials in gdditian to typical monocot and dicot root, stem and leaves.
